Monument to the Serbian Soldier

Located in the center of Mladenovac, the Monument to the Serbian Soldier, the work of academic painter and sculptor Mihailo Milovanović, is dedicated to the 57 citizens of Mladenovac killed in the liberation wars 1912–1918. Installed in 1926, the 6-meter tall sculpture of a Serbian soldier in full combat gear was made of white Venčac marble. In 1987, the memorial was declared a cultural landmark.
