Palilula

This is the largest city district in Belgrade. Its area includes both banks of the Danube, connected by one of the several bridges in the city, the Pančevo Bridge. Any fisherman will tell you that the Palilula banks of the Danube provide the best fishing experience in Belgrade. When in Palilula, you can also visit Ada Huja, the Children’s Cultural Center Belgrade, Small Theater DuškoRadović, as well as the Center for Culture VladaDivljan. Palilula is the fourth most populated city district in Belgrade, and besides the many available cultural facilities, its residents have at their disposal the well-known sports and recreation center Tašmajdan(basketball, tennis, athletics, karate, aikido…), a public pool (swimming, water polo, artistic swimming, water jumping, diving…), a stadium, the Pionir sports hall (basketball, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, table tennis…) and the Ice Hall (figure skating, ice hockey).
